Visits

Visits are the core activity in Merq. A visit represents a field agent’s trip to an outlet to complete assigned tasks.

The Visits tab shows your assigned visits for today, sorted by priority. Each visit card shows:

  • Outlet name and address
  • Distance from your current location
  • Last visit date
  • Current status (Pending, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled)

Use the search bar at the top to filter visits by outlet name.

  1. Tap a visit in the list to open the Visit Detail screen.
  2. Review the outlet info: address, manager contact, check-in radius, frequency.
  3. Tap Check In.
  4. The Check-In Verification screen opens with three steps:

The app shows your current location on a map. Your location must be within the outlet’s check-in radius. If you are outside the radius, wait until you are physically at the outlet or tap Retry once you’ve moved closer.

Take a selfie using the front camera. This photo is attached to the visit record.

The current date and time is automatically recorded.

Once all three steps are verified, tap Submit to check in.

After checking in, the Visit Progress screen shows all tasks for this outlet:

  • Assigned Forms — forms set by your admin for this project
  • Additional Forms — forms you can add yourself

Each task shows its completion status. Tap a task to open the Submission Form.

A progress bar shows how many required tasks you’ve completed. You cannot check out until all required tasks are done.
